Saturday’s wedding was in Indianapolis at the Union Chapel of the United Methodist Church on East 86th Street, and we began proceedings at the wonderful Omni Severin Hotel.

I’ve known Aaron, the groom, and his best man Trent for a few years now but just met Kasey a few months back when we shot the engagement portrait. I knew as soon as I arrived at Kasey’s room to shoot preparations that she’d be a joy to work with. She’s a very considerate and beautiful person. All the bridesmaids were very friendly, and Maya (her flowergirl) was a doll!

My friend and second photographer Dan Rhine got coverage of Aaron and the guys as they prepared for the day, and by all accounts everyone had a great time.

When it was time to go to the church it was first class accomodations all the way – they had both an antique Rolls Royce as well as a stretch limo!

The ceremony was brief but very beautiful, and afterwords we got to play around at the Monument Circle in downtown Indy before returning to the Omni. The reception was very elegant, as is the norm at the Omni, and I was presented with wonderful opportunities when it came time to photograph the evening’s activities.

Thank you to Kasey and Aaron, their friends and families for making my experience so enjoyable! Here are a few favorites of mine until I can get everything posted. Please watch for an album design and the rest of the images in the next few days!

Oh, it was St. Patty’s Day afterall, and Kasey was certain to provide a few appropriate details:

One at Kasey’s request, I hope she likes it!

Maya is just adorable, and so well behaved! (What can I say, I notice these things, I’m a parent, LOL.)

Ok, so Kasey did start getting nervous as the big moment approached, but as you can see, she came through!

Yes, Aaron, you’re married now!

I just LOVE this shot, definitely one of my very favorites this year!

Such a beautiful cake, and the room’s not bad either, LOL!

Congrats, Aaron!

Aaron’s mom had a very cute impromptu story for us…

Kasey and her dad:

They partied…

… and danced the night away…

Be sure and check back in a few days!
