December weddings in Indiana are cold. Plain and simple. If you’re going to have a December wedding in Indiana, have it somewhere with a beautiful interior, because you probably aren’t spending much time doing photos outside.
What better place to spend a day inside than St. Mary Cathedral? I often forget how nice the lighting inside is, somehow managing to provide a daylight-like lighting experience. How wonderful for us photographers!
I sincerely hope I’ve managed to fulfill even a smidgen of Joe and Mary’s expectations. I’ve known Joe for several years now, and have come to know Mary during the last few months. I cannot think of a more hospitable couple to work with. They have opened their home and hearts to my wife Tara and I on several occasions. Many thanks, we’ve enjoyed every one of those evenings (and mornings – those race rain delays can be a bear!).
How nice getting to know their families a little bit too, and it was also nice to see many mutual friends. As someone else said to me recently, this town just keeps getting smaller and smaller! Thank you to the bridal party for making our jobs so easy – I hope we did the same for you.
Make your way on over to Joe and Mary’s website, and while you’re there be sure and click the “Purchase Images” link (you won’t be forced to buy anything) and register with your name and email. This will allow you to be notified the minute all of their images go live, and as always I promise NOT to add any spam to your life! Enjoy!
