UPDATE: Jenna and Matt’s site is now live! Right now you can enjoy a slide show of additional images and next week check back for the Signature Print. The album design will follow, as will all the wedding proofs. Remember, you can click “Purchase Images” and get registered with an email address right now, that way you’re directly notified every time a new element goes live. Enjoy!
For us, some wedding days end up being memorable because of the bride and groom’s enjoyable presence, or perhaps the families and the bridal party and what they contribute. Those things are certainly true for me of Jenna and Matt’s day, but the thing that I must admit will mark the day for me are the 7 minutes or so that I had downtown. We had arranged for an hour to do photography in downtown Lafayette but circumstances transpired to reduce that to about 7 minutes. I’ve discovered in the past that I like to work quickly, under the gun so to speak, and Saturday reaffirmed that. Bring it on!
The ceremony at St. Thom’s was very nice, and I liked how full the church felt with so many guests. The Sheraton did a great job keeping so many guests accommodated, too, but I have to say the standout for me was Josh at Epicenter Entertainment. Josh did an amazing job MC’ing the event. Smooth, flowing, and genuine, his work is recommended. Ah, and let me not forget Jenna’s father Doug’s remarks – very entertaining as well!
Thank you to Tory for filling my second photographer needs so aptly yet again (amazing kiss shots), Jeanne and Doug, Peg and Richard and everyone in the Bridal Party for their hospitality. Check back in next Wednesday for your next update!
Happy Fourth of July!
