Jerry and Deanna were coming into the area from Alaska and we decided to get some engagement images down in Indy before they left again. So despite the fact that there was a winter weather advisory we had to shoot anyway.
I love shooting in White River State Park. It has many great mini-locations in one small area that lets you minimize travel time. Due to the storm forecast, though, I had to make plans for an incoming ice storm. The couple were leaving for home the next day. There would be no rescheduling. The weather ended up being a mixed bag and we used plans from each. We even managed to get some of the ice to turn into snow at the end, so I added in some holiday lights for a true winter feeling shot.
