I’ve grown to really enjoy portraits of large groups. To be totally honest, I used to inform people that we were limited to groups of eight or nine in the studio setting. This year we have worked with groups of up to nineteen people! It’s a unique challenge, “building” a pose with as many people. A bit like playing Tetris (remember that addicting game from the 90s?), one must visualize where each individual best fits into the group as it unfolds. I love it!
What I like even better is working with old friends and repeat clients. So nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. Work is sometimes honestly the best part of the Holidays, and working with the Pollards was the perfect way to wrap up the Christmas weekend.
