Tonya and Marcus | Purdue Union | West Lafayette, IN

I can honestly say that everything went to plan for this wedding. In the wedding photography business you don’t get to say that often. There is normally some curve ball that you have to work around. The closest thing to a curve ball I can mention was that Tonya’s dress took nearly 30 minutes to get bustled (how anyone finds those hooks and buttons under all that fabric at all is beyond me).  However, we arrived at the reception 30 minutes ahead of schedule, balancing the whole thing out. 🙂

Marcus requested the last shot outside the Union at night. I love shooting at night. I tend to be nocturnal, so most of my personal shooting happens late at night, but I rarely get to apply that skill set to my professional work. I was excited and happy to make the shot happen.
