UPDATE: Hey, check out the album design here!
Saturday’s wedding took place right here in Greater Lafayette, at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
As I might have mentioned before, J&G are a dynamic couple, full of laughter and smiles. Julie’s wedding day was no exception, as her reaction to everything around her was all giggles:

Except maybe when Whitney’s trying to put her in a head lock:

… oh… no, wait, she’s just trying to put the veil on! LOL
Once everyone was dressed for the occasion, Geoff would be seeing Julie for the first time in her wedding gown. What a wonderful photo-op:

Just before formals began I captured this image of Julie with her flower girl:

Very nice!
The ceremony was lovely…

… and included a very unique addition in which our couple followed Jesus’ example by washing one another’s feet:

Not sure Jesus had access to a Cincinnati Bengal’s lawn chair, though. :0)
Emotions were high Following th ceremony, as hugs were given out…

… and so were kisses:

Skipping ahead to the Reception, Julie takes a moment to check out the new hardware!

Julie has a fan club:

And so does Geoff!

The Lighting at The Trails was lovely for their head table:

A big surprise came when Geoff and the Groomsmen decided to serenade Julie, but really it was just another example of how much this groom adores his bride!

I’m not sure the groomsmen approved their next surprise with Geoff, however, as it appeared to be an impromptu, unwanted trimming of Geoff’s beard:

… he was a good sport and indulged his pals until Julie came to the rescue:

Our final surprise of the evening was a special gift from Julie’s mother Dawn to the newlyweds…

… a lovely hand-made quilt:

Look for some more of the quilt when I post the album preview.
And finally, Ken gets just one last dance with his daughter on her wedding day:

This has been a somewhat eclectic preview of the things to come in the next few days. I anticipate a very nice album design, so check back in later.
A heartfelt “Thank You” from Tory and I to Dawn, Ken, Teresa, Gary, Erin, Whitney, Maggie, Jason, Andy, Tim and of course Julie and Geoff! ;0)
(There I go showing off again!) LOL
