I always have great respect for couples who write their own vows. Marci and Jeff’s self-written vows were indeed one of a kind. Marci is a planner and loves to talk. Jeff is quiet and easy going.
Marci’s vows were elegantly written, speaking most notably of the moment she first knew she loved Jeff and how she plans on holding that moment close to her heart for the rest of their life together. Jeff followed up by pulling out a tightly folded paper from his breast pocket. As he slowly unfolded it, he coughed into the mic to clear his throat and stated succinctly: “Ditto.” These two are completely different, yet united in a sense of humor.

Marci & Jeff-I wish I could have been there for your big day but I didn’t want any “bad” memories to hurt your day. Your happiness is all that matters to me. I wish you joy, happiness and all the love your hearts can hold thru the years to come. May you never go to bed angry with each other, remember to always feel the way you felt today and just be good to one another. Congratulations to you both! With Love, JoAnne
