Alissa & Brad – June 21, 2008

UPDATE: Proofs are up and available for viewing and purchase here!

UPDATE: The preliminary album design is up here!

Saturday’s wedding took place in Indianapolis at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Alissa was referred to me by a wonderful couple, so I was certainly looking forward to a great experience and I wasn’t disappointed.

Of course the day began with some preparations, of which I enjoy several images, here are a couple of samples:

Alissa with her mom:

And with the girls:

This is in front of one of the stained glass pieces in St. Luke’s, I think this image is quite romantic:

These look like happy folks! :0)

Up to this point I’d been photographing the girls while my apprentice Tory worked with the guys. I didn’t know how Brad was holding up, but it was obvious when the ceremony began that he was just fine. In fact, I’d say he was all smiles:

After the ceremony our couple get a quick moment alone…

…and some important advice! :0)

After the ceremony and formals, we made our way down to the Circle, where this large bridal party was ready to accommodate every request for their friends. Thanks guys!

A quick kiss despite the pigeons! LOL…

Our reception was held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. This is simply a stunning facility, a visual feast for the photographer! Words and photos really don’t do justice to the amazement one feels when entering the room for the first time.

Here are just a couple of sample images:

Dinner service was first rate:

And these two were certainly having fun!

After a few toasts…

…it was dancin’ time:

So far this is just a sneak peek at what was a day full of many wonderful moments, please check back in over the next week to see lots more. Thank you to all the family and a super wedding party for making our day so enjoyable!
