Update 4/17/06: Jill mentioned something she’d like to see and I think it’s a pretty neat concept (click the image to see it larger):

I’ve been photographing an ongoing series of maternity portraits with Jill Deckard and her husband Mitch, and now the stars of the show have arrived!

Sydney and Saige were born March 22nd here in Lafayette, and Jill was able to bring them to the studio for pictures just a few days after bringing them home. This has been a fun project and I can’t wait to see some of the finished prints and/or books we’ll be doing. Jill is a photographer herself, so I’m sure the collaboration will produce some exciting concepts.

We’re very proud to have such bright, dynamic students representing ISP! Ryan Powell is a Junior at Harrison High School and Paige Caldwell a Junior at McCutcheon. Both are avid athletes and very personable. We can’t wait to start rewarding them for their efforts!

My vintage country band, Moonshine Mason and the Rot Gut Gang, finally got a new band photo. The last was well over two years ago, and while I wasn’t having such a hot hair day for this new one, I’m just glad to have got it done. It’s pretty hard to get six guys together for a photo for some reason.
